Privacy Policy
Foodie Saga is run by [YOUR LLC NAME] ("we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect when you read the blog, create an account or use Plan my meal, and what we do with it. Questions: foodiesaga@gmail.com.
What we collect
- Account details: your email address, password (stored securely by our platform, never visible to us) and any name you add.
- Meal plan details: the zip code, group size and preferences you choose (cuisine, spice level, proteins, allergies, diet, vibe and fun filters), any note you type, and the plan we create for you.
- Feedback and activity: your reactions to a plan, whether you click to book or to order delivery, and your replies to our follow-up email.
- Newsletter and contact: your email if you subscribe, and anything you send us.
- Basic site data: standard technical information such as browser type and pages visited, collected by our hosting platform through cookies.
Allergies and diet
Allergy and diet choices are used only to build your meal plans and are stored with those plans in your account. We never use them for advertising and never sell or share them for marketing.
How we use your information
- To create, save and show your meal plans, and to apply your monthly plan allowance.
- To send the one-day-later "Did you go?" email about a plan, and the newsletter if you subscribed. You can unsubscribe from any email.
- To understand which features and preferences are useful, so we can improve Foodie Saga.
- To keep the service secure and prevent abuse.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your personal information. We use these service providers to run Foodie Saga:
- Wix.com hosts the site, accounts, saved plans and emails.
- Google Maps Platform provides restaurant listings, ratings, hours and photos. Your zip code and search preferences are sent to Google to find restaurants. Google's use is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
- Anthropic provides the AI that curates your plan. Your preferences and note are sent to Anthropic to generate it. Anthropic does not train its models on this data by default.
- Restaurant websites and delivery apps you choose to visit from a plan have their own privacy policies.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and saved plans while your account is open. If you delete your account or ask us to, we delete your personal information within [30] days, except where we must keep records by law.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to see, correct, download or delete your information at any time by emailing foodiesaga@gmail.com. Depending on where you live (for example California), you may have additional rights under local law; we honor them.
Children
Foodie Saga is not intended for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date above and, for significant changes, let account holders know by email.
